Mémoires de l'invisible : créer depuis le manque brings together two years of research-creation at Paris VIII University within the Master's in Fine Arts (Ecology of Arts and Media): theory, works and family archives woven into an original editorial form.
Captioned photographs — multiple names, diverse places, traversed geographies — sit alongside theoretical texts and artistic propositions within a single space. The four heritages that structure the practice (Vendéen, Breton, Kabyle and Tunisian) are deposited there in images and fragments of writing.
Neither catalogue nor thesis, the book is itself a memory-object: a form of désarchivage in act, where what cannot otherwise be transmitted finds a form of circulation and knowledge transmission.
