These paintings work at the threshold between presence and disappearance. Figures — bodies, plants, candles, botanical forms — surface without ever fully revealing themselves, absorbed into the material that holds them. The ground is not a background : it is that against which something resists, that within which something persists.

On certain canvases, Amazigh symbols painted in phosphorescent paint only appear in darkness — a memory that reveals itself only under certain conditions, like the knowledge these paintings seek to hold.
